1968 Chevy 4X4

building another truck for Byron this is actually for a young relative (it will probably be ready for rework by the time he get a DL), This one is so much fun because we have a little creative input. I love the color.

Bills GMC

Our newest client a GMC from the late 60s this truck sports a 5.7 ltr ls engine with LS2 heads backed by a 700R4 trans as you can see we got a lot of work to do. The body needs to be bolted up and aligned, we are installing a turnkey stand alone performance engine management system harness for the engine and a american autowire classic update harness for the rest of the truck this will give us all the nec circuits and relays for door actuators electric fuel pump , air conditioning and still have left overs for future upgrades.

its coming along had to shop around to find the right headers for the look we wanted and steering clearence, most everything is buffed out , now searching out seats htese wont work yuk

this bed is redoak with redoak stain to darken it the sealed under about 12 coats of clear coat allowed to dry sanded smooth each 3 coats

then we added the final touch sanded w/2000 and buffed then anchored with hidden bolt strips

51 gmc update

well the frame is blasted painted and suspension rebuild as well as the entire brake system we upgraded the brakes to front disc brakes from tuckers classic auto parts tuckersparts.com and a power brake system with tandem master cylinder the cab and doors are repaired and painted dupont base coat clear coat
